Accessibilitat en Linkat GNU/Linux
EN DESENVOLUPAMENT
Segons la wikipedia, l'accessibilitat és: "és el grau en el qual totes les persones poden utilitzar un objecte, visitar un lloc o accedir a un servei, independentment de les seves capacitats tècniques o físiques. Les noves tecnologies aplicades a persones amb dependencia, afavoreixen la seva autonomia i els hi proporciona autoestima i més qualitat de vida.". En informàtica, l'accessibilitat inclou ajudes com les tipografies d'alt contrast o gran grandària, magnificadores de pantalla, lectors i revisors de pantalla, programes de reconeixement de veu, teclats adaptats, i altres dispositius apuntadores i d'entrada d'informació.
En aquest sentit, des del projecte Linkat s'ha preparat un paquet anomenat linkat-mp-accessibilitat que instal·la un conjunt de programes que milloren l'accessibilitat des de l'entorn Linkat. En concret, s'instal·len els paquets següents:
- Araword: L'AraWord és el nou processador de textos amb pictogrames d'ARASSAC. És una magnífica eina per a la comunicació augmentativa i alternativa, ja que el text es converteix en pictogrames automàticament.
- Cellwriter: CellWriter is a grid-entry natural handwriting input panel. As you write characters into the cells, your writing is instantly recognized at the character level.
- Dasher: Dasher is an information-efficient text-entry interface, driven by natural continuous pointing gestures. Dasher is a competitive text-entry system wherever a full-size keyboard cannot be used
- Easystroke: Easystroke is a gesture recognition tool that runs in Linux

- Ocrfeeder (reconeixement de caràcters:
