He descarregat Google Earth. S'ha desat en la carpeta /home/joan/Downloads.
Seguint les instruccions de la Wiki faig:
·Obro en un terminal
> cd /home/joan/Downloads
> chmod +x GoogleEarthLinux.bin
> gnomesu GoogleEarthLinux.bin
Em surt el següent missatge d'error:
"(gnomesu:11124): GnomeUI- WARNING **: While connecting to session manager: Could not open network socket"
Què faig o tinc malament?

torna a descarregar el GoogleEarth no sigui que estigui corrupte.

L'ordre per executar l'instal·lador és: gnomesu ./GoogleEarthLinux.bin
A la teva ordre no tens el punt barra "./"

Vaig treure el ./ perquè si no no trobava el fitxer (file not found).
He copiat el fitxer a l'escriptori, i a l'ordre
gnomesu(espai)./GoogleEarthLinux.bin
o a l'ordre
gnomesu(espai)./(espai)GoogleEarthLinux.bin
em surt
_IceTransSocketUnixConnect: Cannot Connect to non-local host linux-oea1
(gnomesu:7403): GnomeUi - WARNING ** While connecting......

He borrat el fitxer BIN. L'he tornat a descarregar, ho he tornat a provar i em dona el mateix missatge d'error (només canvia el nº que segueix a "gnomesu")

A veure si aquest el problema...

Entenc que no entres com a root al sistema, sinó amb un usuari normal, oi?
Si tens el fitxer a l'escriptori cal fer anar aquesta ordre on USUARI és el teu nom d'usuari
